Overview
Slæ̈rn Träv-kágd was founded durring the late 11th century, by Srehzez. The establishment of Slæ̈rn Träv-kágd was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Srehzez electing to pay people to resettle in Slæ̈rn Träv-kágd.
Slæ̈rn Träv-kágd was built using the conventions of Gnoll durring the late 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Slæ̈rn Träv-kágd is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.
Slæ̈rn Träv-kágd is buildings are arranged arround a single narrow cobblestone mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the city a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The city resides behind a palisade wall complete with battlments, a moat, and timber gatehouses with drawbridges. The robustly designed timber walls has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.
Your first impression of Slæ̈rn Träv-kágd proves to be right on the money. This city is where the rebels chose to settle. Fashion trends are quite simply the opposite of what’s popular in the other nearby communities. THis trend extends everywhere. Things that should be black are white, what would normally be square is organically curved, and what is typically unthinkable for polite society is more than welcome in this public square. Up to the logical limits, of course. There’s no flaying someone alive to eat their skin going on, but the women are dressed a little immodestly, the men are a little more emotional, and the food is all overly complex and terrible.

It emerged as a movement against traditional, classical styles and sought to make buildings dynamic and fun while breaking the rules. The style incorporated elements of previous architectural styles in exaggerated and whimsical ways. Traditional, conservative leanings were void in this era, with most scholars of architecture agreeing it was a time of “anything goes.”.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Slæ̈rn Träv-kágd was attacked by a renegade group of the army. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Slæ̈rn Träv-kágd lost 141 people, 368 livestock, and 65 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 209, when members of Slæ̈rn Träv-kágd's militia enacted an operation to defend a particular spy, and ensure they remain out of enemy hands. The operation was complicated by enemy spies who revealed the militia's plan. The conflict ended with a last stand against the enemy until a particular event occurred, which ended in victory for Slæ̈rn Träv-kágd's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Slæ̈rn Träv-kágd's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
